What would you do if you won the lottery?

So... I've just gotten the bad news that my car needs a new engine. I'm so sad and heartbroken. 3,200 is something we don't have and now it seems Like near impossible to do anything.

If I won the lottery I would fix my car... Wait, I'd buy a new car and an save the rest

Ugh, that suuuuuuucks. Our car died on us in med school, too. Any chance you can get any additional funds from student loans for the emergency? It's less than ideal, but it may be an option.

We had to do that last year for husbands dad who needed an emergency heart treatment for $500 to cover bills for his house and misc things and it but us in the butt when it came time to move. I'll ask him about this but I doubt we want to touch any more money from student loans though but doesn't hurt to ask

So sorry! DH's car died after first year and we waited about 9 months before we replaced it... He just "inherited" my new car and we worked with one. But I work from home, I knew you travel a lot. Any chance you'll get a good tax refund this year? That's how we afforded our replacement.

Well, I guess it's more like this is my last travel lol but unfortunately I don't work so I doubt I'll get a good tax refund since I didn't much in my direct sales company
