  • The match is coming!!

As I get further away from the day we matched, 11 years ago, there are things I don't remember very well (hey, I had a newborn!), and things that are vivid and clear. I remember being so hopeful. I just knew we were going to match someplace great and it would be awesome!

Do you have fond or awful memories of the match? Were you around? If the match is coming up for you, what is your state of mind regarding it? Are you excited or freaked out or both?

Ha, it wasn't so long ago. But the memories are really good!

We are excited! A little nervous but feeling really positive about it.

        The match is coming!!

Good memories for both matches (residency and fellowship). Matched our top choice both times. I had a job interview in our new city the day after match - got the job. For fellowship match, DH took the day off, so we all went to the girls' music class and then went to have some family fun at the "good" mall nearby!

We nervous but optimistic. I was loaded up on hormones with fertility drugs. I cried for a few days. It turned out to be a good match though.
