Too green?

  • Too green?

Our wall was a dark gray. It hasn't matched anything in our living room for ... Years.

With the new chair, I bought matching green lamps. We took a lamp in, had it color-matched, and then I painted the wall.

    It's ... Green. Minty almost .

    Is it too green?
What can I do with the blank spaces to the left and right of the fireplace? Family pics?

I think it looks really good, in the picture, at least! No idea what to put up on the wall; depends on what you have to hand (we have more things in frames than we have wallspace, so it's just a matter of which thing to put up).

      Love it!

I don't think you need to do anything on the wall.

Maybe I'm just shocked by the difference from gray to green. It is suddenly so light/bright in the room. I wasn't crazy about the gray but the green feels so light. I guess I need to get used to it!

love it. I like blank, spacious walls FWIW.

I love it! We have the same color in our eat in kitchen /sunroom. I wouldn't put anything else on your wall. The painting you have up there looks great! uploadfromtaptalk1424893255602.jpg

You guys are so reassuring. I was ready to go and get a new color/repaint before mil gets here. Thanks for talking me off the ledge.

I think she'll hate it though. I just want to like it for me.

Too bad I can't invite you all over for coffee to give in-person opinions. That. Would be fun!

Who gives a shit what she likes. It's not her home and she doesn't have to look at it after she leaves.

If YOU all like it, that's what matters.

                              I've been on the fence.
