What's the cheapest you've bought gas recently? What's the most you've ever paid for gas? What's the least you've ever paid?

Recently: $1.97. We're up to $2.39 again.

Most: $4.39 for ethanol free for the boat. $3.89 for regular.

Least: $.89 when I was 16.

I paid $2.05 recently but we're also back up to $2.35.
Cheapest ever? .88/gallon when dh was in residency. It was awesome!!!!!

Most? That is a repressed memory.

Side note. I paid $10 extra yesterday to get a car wash. My van is filthy. The car wash was shut down though because of the cold. I lost my receipt with the code on it. Sigh.

Last month, I used a bunch of Kroger reward points and got it for 95¢ per gallon.

It was under a dollar when I first started driving, but I don't remember exactly how much it was.

LOL I was just going to post something similar to LM... I used my Frys (Kroger) points too & got a sweet deal!

It was 89 cents/gal, either my 8th grade year or freshman year. Lowest we got here recently was $1.97.
Highest? LA 4-5 years ago: $4.75. I drove my civic back then, but the gas prices killed me!

We are at about $2.75 I think. The most I've paid is over $5 a gallon and that was in CA somewhere. Some ripoff place bc the Costco rate was around $4.80. Lol.

Lowest back when I started driving there was some kind of oil price shenanigans going on with opec and so it went down to $0.87. My friends and I thought nothing of driving over 100 miles to go to concerts or whatever- gas wasn't even an issue it was so cheap.

Recently, we were around $1.75. It's gone back up over $2/gal now. I haven't noticed pricing as much because I'm only filling up every 2 weeks, as opposed to weekly when I'm working. There's some refineries closer to where my parents live and their gas is always the cheapest. We aren't far, less than 50 miles from those same refineries, but yet our gas is slightly more expensive.

I know I've paid over $4/gal once or twice, but mainly it's been $3.79 or $3.89 (high 3's) for quite some time.

I also recall gas being $.90 or $1/gal when I started driving 15 years (!) ago.

Even our Costco price was around $2.37 this past weekend. I haven't checked out the prices in the city, but they are usually about $.25 higher than Costco and $.10 to $.15 higher than stations just outside this section of the city. I'm not excited about the change, I was loving the cheap gas.
