Goodness. When did this happen? Thanks to ipsy and you tube tutorials. What's in your make up drawer? Do you wear it all? Different faces for different occasions? Best make up tips? Favorite products? uploadfromtaptalk1425483051925.jpg

Haha, I got that blush, bronzer, and double sided eye brush from ipsy too. I wear different makeup for different occasions. Everyday (when I leave the house) is BB cream, powder, tiny bit of blush (because I have zero natural pinkness unless it's a sunburn), and mascara. Usually a quick swipe of natural eyeshadow too. Just a touch of each but I don't like going out bare faced. Date nights include more eyeshadow and lipstick or gloss, and generally eyeliner too. Bronzer in warmer weather. Lip balm every day. Eyebrow powder or pencil sometimes when I'm wanting more of a statement since my eyebrows are already dark.
I never wear foundation anymore since my acne went away and BB cream came out. I don't bother with concealer either, just a touch more BB where I need it.
I do go for different looks depending on what I'm wearing too. If my outfit is kind of hipstery and I'm wearing my raybans I'm more likely to fill in my brows and wear bold matte lipstick. A nice blouse usually = smoky eyes and lighter lips. And so on.
If you haven't noticed, I love makeup.
Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.
I wear the same thing everyday: Laura Mercier oil free foundation, YSL Touche Eclat for under eyes, Tarte gel blush, Shu Uemura concealer, Stila IPF powder, Revlon brow gel, and red lipstick. If it takes more than five minutes to primp, I get agitated!
When I do (haha!), it's physicians formula BB, clinique eye liner, and olay mascara. All shadows and blushes and lipsticks are clinique (and need replacing...) 😄
Most days, it's Cera Ve am moisturizer with SPF 30, and some Burt's Bees Chapstick. I have multiple chapsticks in various places -- I always have access. Maybe I'm addicted to Chapstick?
I wear the same thing everyday - except I'll go a little darker for the eyes at night. I have acne-prone skin and didn't wear any makeup for a long time. Then I started with Clinique, but I hate their formulation for a lot of things and they don't have a lot of the more popular/younger products (like a highlighter). I also have rosacea which I either need to cover or blend with my makeup (depending on how bad it is that day).
Here's my daily list: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
Clinique pressed powder and bronzer (refuse to throw out, but will be switching brands once I'm out!)
Tarte Amazonian clay powder blush and concealer
Naked Basics 2 palette for eyes
Mark Jacobs eyeliner
Make Up Forever mascara
NARS matte lip pencil over Revlon Colorstay lipstick
It seems like a lot of stuff/steps, but I've got it to a science, and I enjoy it.
I don't wear a lot of makeup but truly believe the good skin starts with skincare.
I use tooface bronzer, mascara, eyeliner and Gucci lipstick.
I don't wear foundation often but if I feel like my skin needs to be evened out, I use kiehls bb cream.

I totally agree! It was only after my skin was "stable" that I started adding in makeup. I don't break out except a bit with my cycle - which is a HUGE change from my youth (until I was 27 and saw derm).

My skin right now is awful. I know it must have something to do with postpartum hormone changes, and I'm hoping once my period comes back my skin will go back to normal. But I'm so annoyed in the meantime!
I don't wear makeup everyday. Hell, who am I kidding? I don't even wear it once a week. But I like to have decent stuff that works into my routine easily.
I've received some decent stuff from my Birchbox, but I'm getting the blahs from BB. I've just signed up for Glossybox and it has much better reviews, so we'll see how it goes.
I'm so bad with make up. I've never been a make up wearer but I've tried off and on over the last few years. My main issue is dark circles and baggy eyes. I've been using retinol cream day and night and I've noticed a big improvement. I've subscribed to Ipsy but I've yet to use any of it.
Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.
I use pur minerals primer and powder foundation, some
Creme blush I can't remember the brand of, and felt tip eyeliner. And whatever the mascara of the moment is
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.
I have a fair collection. It's a mix of all natural mineral makeup and drug store brands, plus my favorite Bobbi Brown foundation, concealer, powders. (Only thing that really reduces my red.)
I change eyeshadow and lip color every day depending on what I'm wearing and how I feel, gold, purple, green, silver and browns are my most used eyeshadow colors.
And yes, I've become *that* girl who wears makeup to the gym.

Oh me too! I never leave the house without mascara at the very least, but usually it's everything. I blame small town life. I used to go out all the time without makeup in OKC, but I run into people I know everywhere I go here!
