All I have is MAC makeup an it's the only thing that doesn't break me out but looking at all your lists. I see I need to venture out!!!! My whole bottom bathroom drawer is makeup but if I'm not with hubby then I don't wear anything at all even when I go out. I just use foundation, blush and mascara and fill in my eyebrows. I always have trouble with my lips. As soon as I put it on I hate how everything looks

Just this year I've become a person who wears makeup every day. In my 20s and early 30s, I felt like clear skin and chap-stick lips were enough to look put-together, but now, eesh, I definitely feel more polished with some makeup. I do the following:

-either Bobbi Brown BB cream or Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation
-fill in brows with Stila Stay All Day brow pen
      -Bobbi Brown blush
      -a MAC lipstick

I'd love to do more with my eyes, but recently every liner, shadow, and mascara has been irritating my eyes. And bright red eyes, no matter how well made up, do not help me look less tired. Any suggestions?

This is me too! Anytime I add color to my lips it looks weird to me -- I'll occasionally do a really sheer color or something that's just a shade or to darker than my natural color but 99% of the time it's chapstick. Cherry chapstick if I'm feeling fancy .

I pretty much do moisturizer with SPF (currently an Image product), concealer under the eyes and on any spots (usually Maybelline, plus I just got a concealer brush and kind of love it), Clinique super powder with a brush, Clinique blush, brown eyeliner applied lightly only to the top outside and a tiny bit on the bottom outside (usually Maybelline), and mascara (also usually Maybelline). Every once in a while I'll dress it up with eye shadow and heavier eyeliner, maybe some lip gloss.

I love the MakeupAddiction and SkincareAddiction subreddits. I can find a lot of good recommendations for high-end and drugstore brands; it's also where I learned that the Montistat anti-chaffing gel is a dupe for Smashbox primer! $6 v. $30!
