$1.92 in my neighborhood (a housing project every few 100 yards), and $2.16 in the "Palisades" section of DC (north of Georgetown where the truly wealthy live- the kind who are so rich they wear normal clothes and drive old cars).

Its $1.94 here, and I can't believe it. I think I will start making my husband walk to school. I spent $25 and I didn't even get a full tank! I guess I'm glad I don't have a minivan or an suv anyway.Comment

$2.35 and rising. I've started checking every day on my way past the gas station just because of this thread.
(I still wish I had a car, though. At the moment, $2.35 a gallon still narrowly beats walking to the grocery store.)
