Last weekend I fried my computer. Today, a friend came over and helped me pull all of the files off. I'm thrilled beyond words.

MIL is here, and she's a big hit. Unlike previous visits, DD is allowing her to hold her, no crying, totally happy baby. I'm so relieved. DH came into the kitchen and whispered "this is going to be AWESOME!" I'm going to get so much done, and it's such a load off! Who ever heard of a MIL rave!?

First paycheck of PGY6 came and it's a raise from PGY5! Yay!

I think I've finally got the hang of breastfeeding! We had a bunch of painful and frustrating stumbling blocks initially (too much weight loss, jaundice, positive Coombs, bili blanket, formula supplement, cracked nipples, mastitis) but after almost a month it finally isn't awful anymore! lol. Plus he's busting out of the newborn size that used to fit him, so he must be growing!

Regular nanny is back after a 12 week hiatus!!!!

I found an affordable place to stay at the beach, so we're going in a few weeks! Hubby has been all noncommittal about it, mostly saying he doesn't want to spend money (it's his week of vacation). He said I could book it if I wanted, so I'm doing it. I think E will have an absolute blast, and I love being at the beach. I will force him to have fun!

My best friend was just cleared to start IVF. SO SO SO happy!

Our new gym has an awesome daycare, which the boys are loving! (And I'm loving because it means I can actually workout without having to wait for DH to get home.) Suburbia is growing on me! 😉

Thanks for telling me this thread exists! That's awesome about your gym. I think I've only belonged to one gym ever that had daycare.

So, yea. Ecstatic to be home after spending a week in a dingy airbnb college studio. I met up with my good friend at the gym, did some cardio and strength. Felt great after a week of no exercise.

And to top it off? Since I've been gone DH has been packing his own lunches!! Dreams do come true!!
