One of my friends from church had her second baby over the weekend - her first is a few days older than E. She just realized that she accidentally threw away $200 of cloth diapers that were in a trash bag waiting to be washed, thinking it was instead the other bag of disposable diapers and wipes. She realized it after they picked up the trash. Fortunately, our church is awesome and so many ladies offered to give a little bit and help them out, so within a few hours she has enough money to buy new ones. Mom brain (and pregnancy brain) is serious though! I don't cloth diaper, but I can't even imagine how she felt with that discovery, on top of the baby blues.

WOW that's is terrible but also amazing that the congregation pulled together like that. My mother cloth diapered. I shall have to ask if she ever did anything like that

Mom brain aside: Reminds me of when I left a BRAND NEW PAIR of white J Brand jeans on the bed at a hotel. I couldn't see them cuz they were the same color as the sheets and didn't realize that I left them there. Never even got the chance to wear them outside of the filleting room! Still makes me mad. I looked damn good in them but I wasn't about to shell out another $200 on a new pair. So tragic. Why do bad things happen to good people? 😐I'm just trying to make it out alive!
