      Right?
"How much do you drink each week?"

      "One....bottle...a night..."

unfortunately I'm a *little* bit more choosy about what I drink than them. I spend closer to $15 a bottle these days.

Me too! I also drink box wine, but it has to be a "good" label.

Dang, lady! What do you get for $15? We have some nice red blends locally (Charles & Charles, Bookwalter Notebook) that will routinely go on sale for $10, so I don't usually get fancier than that, except for our monthly wine club (we're in the ~$25 "tier" of the club.) Our daily drinking wines can be as low as $5 if I hit the sale cycle right. >.<

Yea I'm a sucker for sale bottles. There's an upscale wine shop around the corner from our apartment. Every Tuesday the owner sends out an informative and often witty entry about a featured wine for the week. They're always 30-50% less than national average. And reading the blurb is like a private wine tasting (and history lesson) in the comfort of your home. Plus you can buy them by responding to the email. So that happens just about every Tuesday. This week it's 65% off a Cotes du Rhone: $28 bottle for $10. The week before it was 50% off a $40 Cab blend. How could I say no?

As I like to say, you've got to spend money to save money. I love supporting local wine shops.
