  • What are you thankful for this month?

I'm thankful for my health and that my family is healthy ....

I'm thankful that my mom is so healthy and that she going to be able to come and visit us again for Christmas.

We are safe and warm and we have enough of the things that we need to sustain us.

I grateful for the 10 day thanksgiving break coming up at my school/work. I'm looking forward to exhaling.

That my baby is turning 2 at the end of the month and I've got another baby cooking! And that my big girl loves school and everyone seems generally healthy and happy!

I am thankful that I have a job that I like but not love. When I looooove my job, it is very hard to walk away from it and create a positive work/life balance. I like my job, the people I work with and it pays well...so, I am ok. when I get frustrated, I remind myself that I get to go home at five-ish most of the time and do not have to check email until the next morning.

I am thankful for our health - physically and emotionally. I think DH finally found his groove and seems content with work. Also thankful for friends. We have made some pretty close friendships in the short time we have been here. Kind of reinforces the fact that we did not belong in our previous town.

Also super thankful my f-ing dog passed another sock and did not require costly surgery...or worse, die. Have no idea why the little bastard thinks it is ok to eat socks. He is 5!!!
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

I'm grateful I kept my job and I'm now able to work from home once my husband was accepted in a Residency program far from home.
