      Thanksgiving miracle...I dressed up my children (and husband) and dragged them to a park on the way to my moms to take pictures. 15 minutes in and out. And the self time pic didn't turn out half bad

          Well, I forgot to make the green beans, but everything else came out good. My mom brought corn, so we at least had some veggies. We also didn't get any group pictures, and E screamed through half of dinner, but at least hubby was home for a little bit.

                  We had Friendsgiving last night and it was SO fun! I made my mashed potatoes (sour cream and cream cheese involved, so those are a once-a-year thing), the hosting couple did turkey and stuffing, and we had other people bring rolls, corn bread, homemade apple pie, a pumpkin pie, and appetizers. I loved it! We played Settlers of Catan after, too. I love food-oriented holidays that encourage people to sit and talk for hours. The best.
