Hubby has never checked my pulse. Am I the only one who thinks it's a little weird?

He also doesn't carry credentials with him. Do others?

Keep in mind we're MS2, so this is all very new and exciting to him still.

Is There a Doctor in the Marriage? [NYT]

My dh is required to carry his OK state license in his wallet. It's flimsy paper. He hasn't had to in NY or NM.
Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

Trying to think of circumstances under which spouse would be fondling my feet at all, let alone poking at a pulse point...we're just not foot people. He does like to whap me in the reflex point on my knee though!

LOL - I thought the same.

Also do not carry credentials around.

Re: the article, I also found it kind of silly. However, it made me think...I am not a clinician but between the two, I have more recent experience with BLS and ACLS. DH no longer has to have ACLS cert so I want to say that the last time he took the course, AHA still had shock, shock, shock. .
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Lol. We're not foot people either. He will sometimes check my wrist pulse if we're just sitting there and we're holding hands or something. I have no idea why. Probably boredom haha.

Yeah, pretty sure DH has never checked my pulse. And if he ever was all up between my toes he'd be told to get the eff away. So not a foot person.

DHs med school laminated a business card size diploma. No clue if he keeps it in his wallet. Super cute though!

Yeah I don't know anyone who carries their credentials...especially because you may not be licensed where you land anyway so why schlep it along...

Especially as a resident! This whole article was so bizzare. And it wasn't even well-written!

If she is married to a doctor but no one hears about it, is she still married to a doctor?
