I would say it's my new fleece slippers. I have terrible circulation in my feet and in the winter I end up with what I think are chilblains. I've been wearing wool socks every morning and it helps, but I'm just thrilled to have these slippers (and spare my socks!) Plus they have a sole so I can dash outside to the trash can or whatever if I need to. And they're cute, with a colorful dotted pattern!
He also gave me a selection of artisanal salts. I thought it was so sweet because it's like a thing between us, he thinks I'm completely insane to have more than one kind of salt in the cupboard, but I really really like the nuanced differences between them all. Now I have sea salts and lava salts and Himalayan salts and fleur de sel and all the salts!
Hubby and I splurged on a nice lens last month, and I'm loving it so far.

Nothing. Hubby and I decided not to exchange Hannukah gifts. My mom and siblings got me the strangest assortment of gifts. Mom goes to the thrift stores and literally buys garbage -- stained books, torn clothes. We all know that I'm thrilled with second hand but she doesn't inspect her items well. She also gives us our own childhood stuff that she's cleaning out of her house so I got my candy striper uniform and girl scout sashes. SILs got me wine related gifts; guess they think I drink.
Oh, but mom got all the men the Shower Wow. https://www.buyshowerwow.com Awesome white elephant gift but she was serious.
Honestly, I was happy to get rid of it all. Nothing to ship back home, clean, or find room for. Clutter free holiday.

I need to see this. This was another of my favorite gifts:
I saw it in a shop window a few weeks ago and told DH, "I can't begin to describe how happy that makes me. Too bad I don't really need a tote bag." So...he got it for me anyway. And I am still deliriously tickled by it. Somehow it makes me think of Thirteen, JustRightKelly, and any other happy chicken owners or future chicken owners out there. Now I need to figure out something I need a bag for! I have a bag like this with a different design and it doesn't work very well for knitting projects...hm...
As silly as it sounds I love the pack of monopoly socks my DH got me. I also love the doggie pandora charm DH and the kids picked out to add to my bracelet. They also got me an Urban Decay Naked palette, but I'm planning on exchanging it for another one with bolder colors.

Hmmm, it's a toss up between the kayak trip, my new awesome pottery book and the 660 curries cookbook. It was a great day with friends and family and I'm so happy to be home and alone with C tonight.
30 minutes with my Christmas present, and I'm wiped. 😇

Since my surgery in 2010, my ROM is limited somewhat to help with stability, so the resistance + suspension trainer allows me to do deeper squats and better lunges. *swoon*
Day 1 of my "get amazing arms" went well.

I'm torn between the earrings DH got me and the kindle my MIL gave me.
I asked DH for earrings and said to pick something he though was pretty because it means more to me and he got me opals. They're unique and pretty and I love them! And apparently opals are his favorite stone.
But I'm really excited about the Bluetooth speaker too. Now I can rock to pandora in the kitchen even louder!
