    It is not about the money...at least it was not for us. We lived waaaaay below our means and I made a good enough salary that could have supported us both. However, being told you are no longer worth X while being asked to do more is pretty damn demoralizing.
    Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

      We have 2 kids in college and 1 who will be starting soon. It's about the money. And. Being told they don't give a crap about you.

      Dh said that if they cut salaries he will also cut his productivity. He won't knock himself out for less. He's eyeing a couple of jobs so that we can live someplace warm if there is going to be a paycut.
