Yup. Of course, I've got a few additions and substitutions that could make many of these seem petty. BTW, Bingo Time if quickly approaching.

Lol. Me too. And my mil is guilty of many of these including walking into my room unannounced and finding me half-naked

A couple days after K1 was born, DrK had to physically restrain MILK from barging into our bedroom. I was trying to nurse the baby and was entirely naked having just exited the shower. As you can imagine, my nude body was quite a sight just a couple days after having had a c-section. I doubt I ever felt or looked worse in my life. The very last thing I could desire was an audience of any kind. She simply couldn't imagine why she was barred entry, argued with him relentlessly, and then sulked for days after he insisted she give me privacy.

WTH??!! Wow. My MIL can be trying, but she would never do that! I am not certain she has been in my bedroom...ever. She would have been mortified if DH had asked her to leave...

I rarely see my mil. She never visits me, rarely calls but now that I'm living with her from time to time. I hate that she just knocks anytime after 10pm when I'm already sound alseep. I've actually not seen her since Dec 25th or stepped foot in her house or my living area in her house. So all is good with the world of MIL right now

I am so incredibly lucky. I have the sweetest mother in law on the planet. I cannot imagine her doing any of those things. She loves me and I talk to her 3 times as much as my own mother. My husband still gives her a hard time about the time he went home when we were dating seriously and the first words out of her mouth were that she was so sorry I couldn't come. I adore his sisters as well. I've always felt like I belonged there... I cannot imagine if I had to deal with any of that...

Mine is a mentally ill hell on wheels. Thankfully she lives an ocean away and dh is not fond of her.

Ha, my MIL has exhibited several of those behaviors. I'd like to add another: This year I was pretty happy to find what I thought was a great Christmas gift for her. Today I discovered she re-gifted it ... to my 5 year old.

She doesn't do any of these, that I know of. It helps that we live on opposite coasts. 😄

I have been SO lucky. Mine has been living 2 blocks away for six months, and it's been no problem at all. It's been nice to have them in town, in fact.

I might have told you guys about this when it happened...6.75 years ago. yikes. But when my daughter was born and taken to the NICU, away from me, she visited her there after I asked her not to. (she was a retired NICU nurse there, so they let her in) THEN she took a sad picture of herself with my newborn who I had not met yet and posted it on facebook. I asked her to take it down and it's still there to this day and I still get itchy just thinking about it!

that's a whole new kind of showing up unannounced.
I will say though, she watches our kids overnight fairly frequently, which keeps me sane. But holeeee crap. Talk about bad MIL behavior. Also...I love scary mommy
