Hey guys! I'm on the hunt for new foundation, and maybe even new EVERYTHING. My make up routine is the same as it has been since I got married...almost 10 years ago.
Do you guys have favorites?
I use Cerave moisturizer, some sort of concealer (Maybelline?), Clinique super powder and blush, occasionally Clinique eye shadow, occasionally eye liner (Maybelline?), and Maybelline mascara. The only thing I've changed in as long as I can remember is the moisturizer.

I got a $50 gift card to Nordstrom last year from an old boss. Lost my mind and bought Chanel foundation. I dig it, but won't be re-buying. I tried Revlon Colorstay at Ulta and liked it! I will switch to that when my fancy stuff runs out.
I just got the Maybelline Age Rewind under eye concealer and LOVE it. Covergirl mascara, Wet 'n Wild eye shadow, Nyx eye pencil in "milk" as a base for eye shadow, and usually chapstick on my lips. :/ Tarte bronzer (lasts forever and smells like chocolate), and ELF blush.
Cerave hydrating face wash, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I use Montistat anti-chafing gel as a primer--works great!
I really want to buy every single thing all of you just listed.
One thing that I've started using occasionally and LOVE is the Glam Glow mud to foam. I get it at Sephora. It's wonderful.
I think right now i have some sort of covergirl foundation that I've used forever, a Mary Kay eyebrown pencil, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara...and some random eyeshadows.
Have you guys used the Loreal Makeup Genius App. It is kind of awesome.
I walked into MAC one day and said I need a solid makeup routine that takes me less than 5 minutes. They were great (and if you saw my makeup you would never think that is someone who goes to MAC - I'm way low key). Their stuff is expensive, but it also lasts me a really long time.
All of which is to say, let one of the nice makeup people give you some ideas.

Covergirl Star Wars mascara, yes, Star Wars. It's actually awesome and because STAR WARS!!!
Another mascara option is Estée Lauder Sumptuous. Both the above last all day, don't run, and come off easily. The wands also allow you to use them as eyeliner as well (way easier and better than using a seperate liner)
Estée Lauder Perfectionist is a great foundation and lasts forever. Their BB Day wear is pretty good too.

I use the mineral-based make up at Target. I had to get rid of my entire skin care and make up regimen once we moved here: my face was breaking out all the time.
Which reminds me, it's time to go buy new eye make up.
Most days, because of work outs or running, I have moisturizer and sunscreen on my face, with a hat, and Burt's Bees lip balm. That's it. 😄

I just recently went to Sephora for a makeover/consultation because I was sick of everything I had. I learned a bunch (especially about doing my eyebrows), and the makeover was free with $50 purchase. Now I use Make Up For Ever cover stick foundation and Nars concealer.
