• MSN Love Fest 2016

In honor of the holidays and being thankful, let's all spread some love using the following prompts...

(please note this is a public forum so be cryptic accordingly)

Because of MSN....
Without MSN....
Because of [insert name of wonderful MSN member], I learned/appreciate (whatever positive sentiment you have)...

Let's spread some good cheer and love around this place!

Because of MSN, I felt really well prepared for some of the more challenging times for med school.
Because of MSN, I feel way more prepared for "the job" interviews
Because of MSN, I know someone in our fellowship city and SoonerTexan has already made my life 1 million (that's a conservative estimate) times easier to move there for a single year

MSN supported me after my birth complications whether with endless cheerleading, thoughtful notes/prayers, or Deebs showing up to keep me company so my DH could get out of the house.

Because of MSN, I have buddies who I can text for prayer...or penis jokes...or eyerolls when DH gets off late. All have been mission critical multiple times in recent memory.

I am grateful to this place in ways that I can never fully articulate.

Because of Vanquisher, my life is truly, monumentally changed for the better. A single message from her on one of my darkest days changed the entire course of my future. Well, it started with a simple message, anyway!

I am grateful for the kind words of houseelf to remind me of what my priorities always should be when I've gotten caught up in something that I can't ever change.

I rely so much on some of our older members who aren't as active anymore to guide me through the gauntlet of the teenage years.

Because of MSN I'm able to ask questions at each step of my medical journey and have someone there for me who gets it.
Without MSN I never would have met MissCrabette who helped me understand the International Medical Graduate process and all that goes with it.
Because of Momo I was able to fly to Texas for my nephews funeral and support my grieving brother.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.

HouseofWool This made my day. It took me awhile to get on a real screen to properly thank you, but this was super sweet.

I love the bravery and authenticity here. It has helped me to be more brave and authentic in real life. Hell, I've even been taking my own advice lately. LOL There are a lot of people who honor the community with their real stories. You make us all stronger.

There is so much love here. <3 Happy 2017 to all!

Al the times you have reminded me that you can't court order someone to be a decent human being have stuck with me.

Thankfully, I am at a point where I no longer need him financially so, it is much easier to be cavalier able his shortcomings.

Because of iMSN, I have met some incredible people. I know I'm not alone. This last year, I have barely been online. Without iMSN, I feel an emptiness. The people here are so fantastic. I miss the daily contact.

Because of imsn I've met and made one of my dearest and truest friends.

Because of imsn I was able to get through the end of med school, all of residency and now attending-hood. (About 12 years now)

I don't post often but I still lurk and will shoot a text/email of support...

Happy holidays and new year to you all.

Feeling the love this New Years Eve. I don't know if I can follow the format (sorry T&S) but I'm super grateful for iMSN. I can't believe y'all have been part of my life for longer than I've been married, and my 14th anniversary is next year. >.< I'm better for knowing all of you, including those who've left, but especially those who've been there all along the way. I love you guys.
