This weekend....

Anyone have plans? Today, the boys' swimming was postponed to the afternoon for a swim meet. Lambie woke me at 1am to take her to the toilet. (Good for her but I couldn't get back to sleep.) The boys made us breakfast in bed and we've been watching Japanese cartoons all morning.

Both DH and I are working this weekend. I still need to finish putting away the Christmas decorations. I keep hoping those elves will come back and put them away for me. My kids have had two ski clubs, two birthday parties/sleep over and one is skiing with friends family in VT today. I want my kids lives. Really.

DH is working till next Saturday. I'm home lounging, playing doctor with my oldest and watching the baby try to walk and just dreaming of all my fabric and unfinished sewing projects

On our way to a kids birthday party at a trampoline place. I'm mildly nervous about D jumping with mostly 5 year olds but it'll be fine, right?

DH had a case this morning, but he should be home in the afternoon. Today is Day One of potty training for DS2. So far, so good!

Went to observe a BASICs course, a prehospital care course for Drs and Nurses, but a guy didnt turn up so I got his place. A lot is above my scope of practice but its still great practice on the ABC approach.

Just tagged and bagged 5 enormous bags of toys for a consignment sale. And 2 more bags for donations and 2 bags of trash. Feels good.

I saw La La land, which was great. Currently each child has two friends in the house, so the total number of kids totals 9 right now.

Thomas and I went to the cabin. I went to bed Friday at 10pm and slept until 11:30 am. Took a nap from 1pm-6pm. Had dinner and went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 9. Basically I slept all day Saturday!! Today we're heading home.

I spent Friday afternoon cleaning and running errands and studying for my research methods course. I love my clean apartment. 😊

Yesterday I was able to work on an application, work on a presentation for one of my classes, work on a case assessment, get my hair colored, do a couple hours for my research job, and host about 15 classmates for dinner. We wrote postcards to our senators about issues important to us.

Today I've slowed down a lot. Slept in a bit, finishing up that case assessment, grocery shopped, and attended a local event at the park to support refugee families and refugee resettlement orgs in the area. I still need to do more research and school work. Thankfully I have tomorrow morning off to catch up on reading.
