  • Choose your own name

If you could choose your own name, what would it be? Why? Would you honor someone/something? Would you keep your current name?

I need to think on this...but I thought it was a fun question.

No idea. I don't like my name, but not sure what I'd change it to. I don't hate it enough to change it for sure.

        Choose your own name

I love my name. It's an old name, and I was named after my grandmother. When I was little I was self conscious about it because no one else had it. I'll keep it!

I wish I had one of my grandmother's names (Ruth or Margaret) somewhere in my name. And I've always envied my friend Clementine for having a memorable name.

It's why I've tried to give my kids somewhat less popular names so they might be memorable.

I can't think of anything I'd want to change it to. When I was a kid for some reason I wanted to be a Callie instead of Alli. I did also change the spelling of my nickname at one point - my parents always spelled it Allie, and I decided I needed to be Alli instead.

I don't like my name, but I'm not sure what I would change it to. I'll have to think about it and check back.

I like my name, always have. Solid name, short nickname. My boss has the same name. I would change her name to something like Velva or Cretin.
