    When things didn't go quite as planned...

    I was randomly thinking about this today after seeing something on Facebook--have any funny stories to share from when you carefully tried to execute something and it just didn't go as planned?

    When I was pregnant with #1, I made gender reveal cupcakes for my family. Except I messed up the pink icing and it turned out a dark purple. They all were like, "what are you trying to tell us?"
    Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

      ROFL, reminds me of the time I painstakingly made cake batter from scratch, bought the official Disney Cars Lightning McQueen cake pan, followed the official Disney Cars icing diagram...only to have my FIL ask, "What is that, a red alligator?"

        First thing that comes to mind is when I forgot to arrange transport to the church for half of our wedding party. We both ended up being 20 minutes late for our own wedding! People thought we weren't gonna show up 😄
