  • ... and baby makes 3 (or 5, depending on how you look at it)

    Hey everyone -
Whew! We are finally back online after our whirlwind of moving our stuff to CT, heading back to Michigan for graduation, then jumping in the car and heading back here for orientation (that started 2 DAYS after graduation!! Where did that "month of play" go??).
We are getting organized slowly but surely, and in the midst of all of this, we got some more 'news' I took a test on Saturday, and then gave DH the test with a card from "baby #3" for Father's Day.
I have been on a rollar coaster ride since we found out. For the most part we are totally excited, but I am also terrified to be having a baby in the middle of internship year. The other fear that I have is that we will have a repeat of the last pregnancy (TWINS)... since we did the same type of fertility treatment (clomid). I guess we will know soon enough...
In any case, it's good to finally be back on the site!! Have a great day!

    Jen B.

Congratulations. That is so exciting...what a great way to share your pregnancy with your husband too! Two sets of twins would be fun

Take care of yourself and keep us posted. How old are your twins now?

Thank you so much everyone for your posts! Things are going well. (well, as good as things can go when you feel like running to McDonalds, for a happy meal and then having to run to the bathroom soon thereafter... )
We had our first Dr. Appointment yesterday. We have to wait for TWO weeks to get an ultrasound, but when she checked my uterus, she looked at me with 'that' look (the one I saw on my doctor the first pregnancy before he told me we were having TWO), and she said, "well, your uterus seems a little 'generous' for your gestation time." I instantly turned to her and asked, "what does that mean??" All she would say was, we should wait for the ultra sound to get any specifics. 8O . I think if there is more than one in there, I am REALLY going to cry. It's one thing when you have no idea what you are in for... quite another when you are STILL in the middle of it and then starting through it from the beginning once again!
She did say after that it is not really indicitive on anything for sure because every body is so different, it could just be the way my body is responding to this pregnancy, especially being the second one. That helped me feel a little better, but I will still be on pins and needles until we get the final results.
I'll let you know what we find!! Take care!
                              Jen B.
