I was babysitting at 12 for my family and 13 for others--being the oldest girl of 5 helped. I can already tell my oldest will be ready early too. Her brothers...not so much.

Last year I left post call sleeping DH with the 4 year old while I went to the doctor. At the time I felt I could trust him to sit and watch the kindle and wake up daddy if there was an emergency. He pretty much did, but he also left the sink on after going to the bathroom (during a period when my boys loved to put the drain down and fill up the sink) and flooded the bathroom. :/

I cant trust my youngest for shit and probably wont be able to for years and years...maybe in his 20s?
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.
