    Does any one have advise about collecting payment from Medicare? DrK hasn’t been paid in months.

    I would recommend investing in a billing company to fight for you. My previous boss tried collecting money from Medicaid on her own and finally had success after hiring a company.

        You might talk with other companies. I know that our medical record system, kareo, was included as a part of our package and that they actively went after payments. Before this, we were barely getting paid. Insurance companies suck. And wait until everyone is on Medicare and no one is getting paid. Ugh. Something has to change.

          Good luck, it’s a nightmare. Insurance companies hate private practice. Dh is constantly fighting for every penny.

          ETA- he hasn’t gotten paid since November by Medicare. I just asked. (He has a billing company)
