    Finding a good hairdresser

    How did you do it? I just went to my 3rd salon in recent months. I told the hairdresser how I wanted my hair cut (layers) and she told me I didn’t want that. I showed her a picture and clarified that I did want it. She cut it her way. I like layers to start up closer to my scalp. I can’t find anyone who will cut my hair that way. They go with layers starting at my ears. I would have said something today, and I should have, but she took so long. At the end, she said perkily, “see, I told you this would look good.” Meh. It’s not what I want and I will be going elsewhere tomorrow.

    How can I find someone that suits me?
    How would you have responded to the hairdresser today? I was way too wimpy.

    I ask people whose hair I like! It's worked 3 times! (I keep having to switch because they keep moving far away though)
    Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

      Good idea! I’ll have to think on it. Almost everyone I know has long, straight hair. I’ll have to figure out who doesn’t. LOL

          I have had my hair like this since the 8th grade. I was obsessed with Christine Cagney. It’s been about 5 years since I’ve had my hair like this and now that I’m reliving my youth watching Cagney and Lacey again, I decided to revisit it.

                Thomas bought me the boxed set. I’ve been watching a little every day. He also bought me an autographed copy of Sharon Gless with certificate of authenticity.

                I’ve met Tyne Daly. She was larger than life.
