  • Scar Removal

My three year old has a scar on his cheek from a scratch (courtesy of his brother). It's healed, but isn't fading (it happened in Jan). Any tips for things to do? Mederma was suggested by my MIL, so I'll start there. It is pretty noticeable.

Not sure if it's appropriate for a 3 year old, but Bio-Oil packs a retinol and vitamin E punch that's great for minor scars. I'll be using it as soon as this baby is out to try and reduce the scar on my nose from falling a couple months ago. Maybe your ped can tell you if that's ok? I've never had any luck with mederma.
