We bought the cheapest wedding bands possible in case we ever lose them. He ties his on his scrub bottoms during surgery and immediately replaces it afterward. When I travel, I do so only with my wedding band and without my diamond. In our marriage, we both feel pretty strongly about wearing our rings as much as possible. Now, even if we do take them off, we have these huge white indentations in our finger.

Matt wears his all the time, but he is in anesthesia, so I guess the whole sterile issue isn't there. He takes it off occasionally. There have been a couple of times I have found it, and I say to him "What you don't want to be married to me anymore?"

Matt wears his wedding band on his right hand- it's easier for him. I wear on my left. In his band it's inscribed- Hand in Hand June 27, 1998, and in mine Side by Side June 27, 1998.

Paul wears his ring every day, and just ties it to his scrub bottoms when in the OR.

              Claiming my man!

I feel the same way, we aren't engaged yet, but I presented my bf with a ring in hopes that he'd get the hint. I tell myself he's waiting for me to defend my thesis first. Yeah, that's it...
