  • Well, it's here.....

our first 100 degree day. I saw 102 officially a few minutes ago. I should be glad, since usually we hit 100 way earlier than now in TX, but all I really feel is........

    hot.

From now until at least the middle of September, we will be hitting the century mark fairly regularly, I'm afraid. At least it's a dry heat.......

We're eating dinner at the neighborhood pool.

How is the weather treating all of you?

The dash temperature gauge in my husband's car said 113 as the outside temp when we got into it at 4-ish today, but that was in the sun. And it's NOT a dry heat here. Yuck. Last summer was a breeze compared to this one. And I'm cranky because I missed my afternoon siesta. But talk to me again in January and I'll be singing a different tune.

Sorry Sally- today was not the first in a string of days that DH and I thought- well, today would be a great day to have a convertable.

We have had some butt ugly days here so far but you know, the good days more than make up for them.

As for humidity- DC spanks San Antones butt- although they get the stupid heat. Generally speaking the one affected by it has been the poor pup whose allergies are awful this year. He is the #1 advocate for us going back to Texas.

I know the Texas heat and I feel your pain.

            Sorry Sally,
In Princeton it is curently 67, forecast is high of 82 with 63% humidity. Of course this is very unusual for us this time of year. Usually it is very hot & humid.l

Oh man I would just melt I think!!! So far the high here is around 85 and that feels sweltering. We've had a great summer so far and I'd say the average with little to no humidity is 75. That's my kind of weather but I know that probably feels cold to some of you!!

We've only been in the low 90's and compared to last summer, this summer has been very mild. We didn't even turn on the AC in June. I'm actually glad it's finally getting hot because the kids and I can to go the pool and not freeze when we get out.
