We returned home yesterday from a two week vacation (combined with a second interview at a practice my husband is probably joining) and I am busting myself trying to catch up with you all!
Complicating matters is the fact that the day before we left on vacation, the principal at my boys' school offered me the opportunity to teach part-time, and I accepted.....so now that we are home, I am working feverishly to get ready for school, which starts Wednesday. I will only be teaching from 1:30 to 3:10 each day, but getting ready is keeping me busy.....I had meetings all day today. I will be teaching Social Studies to 3rd graders.....I will have two sections of them. Social Studies isn't exactly my area of expertise, 8O but I am really looking forward to being back in the classroom! I will keep you all posted on how it goes.
In the meantime, I am doing my best to catch up on everyone! I haven't had time to reply to every post, but I am trying to read them all. I know that Kris is gone now, and Kelly is in post-partum bliss mode,
, but if anyone needs an admin, I am around!
