  • Not that I'm worried...

I don't want those female med students thinking he's single and available. Their biological clocks are just ticking away and they're looking.
Ha ha I got this quote from the discussion on wearing wedding rings and I wonder if any nurses have ever tried to get friendly with your SO? I always ask DH if he flirted with nurses when he gets home from the hospital..[/quote]

DH worked in a Jewish hospital during prelim year and actually wore his wedding ring all the time...but he said several patients still tried to fix him up with their daughters/nieces/etc.

He seemed to be flattered and amused. I don't mind though. I find it funny how desperately some ppl want a doctor in the family. If they only knew...

I think the vibe a more senior doc gives off can discourage any potential flirting.

Some are more open and "friendly" and some are more business oriented. I was thrilled to hear (at the chief's festivities this summer) how many younger women residents enjoyed working with my DH and how much they knew about his family. My DH can be.....shall we say formidable???? They even felt comfortable teasing him a bit which I think is a healthy show of affection!

I think if you have time to flirt, you probably aren't working hard enough!
