  • Clothing help for interviews #2

Ok now I'm wondering about bags and watches.. Should we go out and buy a non-sport watch? And dh has only a backpack, is it time to invest in a over-the-shoulder-leather-baggy thingy?

I really don't know what is considered app. to bring with on an interview. I'm really thinking that a oversized calendar thing where one could write notes, might be the right investment. Any help appreciated.

Yes, you definitely need a dress watch when dressed up. No watch is probably better than wearing a sports watch with a suit.

Start looking for a leather bag-- try ebags.com-- they have good prices and a big selection.

I lent my boyfriend my portfolio for his interview. It's just a black faux-leather folder with a pocket for papers and a notepad. You can get them at any office supply store.

      I agree about the watch.
Ditto for the leather portofolio -- I think it works better and looks better than a bag (for interviews, that is). And a lot cheaper too -- probably around $10.
