One of the few things I like about our neighborhood is that there's a bread factory between our apartment and our subway stop, so every morning I'm greeted by the smell of thousands of baking loaves on my way to work. It fills up the whole block. Bread in a plastic baggie may not taste as good, but it still smells great baking at 8 a.m.Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.
