    Hi Julie,
I've been MIA for a while but I have to chime in on this one. That is RIDICULOUS - how could they expect that to stay up for weddings? I've never heard of such a bizarre thing. Please do keep us posted if the coordinator continues to say no maybe there is someone else above her that can help??

    Good luck!

      Julie,

What ever happened with this?? When's the big day again?

It's still sitting on the back burner. The woman never called back and we haven't had any further contact with her since this all happened a few weeks ago. I'm kind of stewing about how long I should let it sit.

Julie, thanks for sharing your wedding details! Everything looks so beautiful. I love your reception hall-- it's in Barrington?? WOW. And your dress, and invitations, and flowers, and cake... it's all really gorgeous.

I love the dress. All those details it made me tired just reading it. OMG has it been hard to plan. Those Martha Stewart menu cards look cool. The barn is really cool, is it normally a restaurant or is it a reception hall all the time?

They have a restaurant section that's open all the normal restaurant hours, and then the banquet rooms are in a separate part of the building.

The bouquet was actually my starting point for sort of deciding on the look of the wedding. I've tried to keep everything else in touch with that.

                        Hi Julie -

I bet you're dying to know whether you can cover that picture. As much as I love sports, it's not what I'd want above the alter either, and you're far more patient than any bride I know. They'd all have tackled that woman and demanded an answer by now!

Your Knot site is fabulous! You have to be one of the most organized brides, which I hear makes the days preceeding less strained if that's possible! BTW, your flowers are gorgeous. Definitely one of the most elegant and colorful bouquets I've seen.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that photo can be hidden!

                        Stephanie

Love, love, LOVE the pics! Absolutely gorgeous. I love the flowers!!! I had a Christmas wedding and had a similar color scheme. You have some fabulous ideas. Make sure you get TONS of pics for us to look at - I wish I could be a fly on the wall that day.

It's too bad that you can't get a hold of any of the other brides who are getting married there between now and your wedding. You could all join together and DEMAND that Walter be taken down.

Thanks for sharing, Julie! I love the bouquet and the corsages. Stephanotis is beautiful. The barn (quite a classy barn!) looks like a great place for the reception. Ohhh....and the cake. Very elegant.

That is great that your ring has a continuous band under the tension setting. I have a tension setting and my diamond popped out of the setting a few months ago. Luckily I found it. Now they tell me that the setting isn't quite as strong as others....

May the brides before you demand the picture be moved!!

Beautiful! My bouquet was a lot like the one you pictured...the colors reminded me of a beautiful sunset. I loved it - it was one of my most favorite parts of my wedding. Great site!

Julie, how is the wedding planning going? Less than two weeks, and you can say "I'm getting married this year!"
