living in bliss

Well not exactly but close enough. DH took his third and final boards test on Friday (USMLE 2). It's over no more studying (well at least the hardcore -can't help with anything-your a single mom kind) for awhile. I'm so excited DH actually changed a diaper, took out the garbage without scowling at me and giving me the I-need-to-study-our-future-is-hanging-by-a-string look.

Well I am going to fully enjoy this last semester before residency. This wife just went from single mom to spoiled mom. (am I gloating) Funny how even a little help around the house can lift ones spirits.

Congrats to you! Honestly, Step 3 will be even easier. By then, the poor DH is so overworked they just relent and take the test without worrying so much about the studying. I have heard the saying: Step 1: 3 weeks of solid studying. Step 2: 3 days of solid studying. Step 3: 3 pencils!

I can't remember specifics on any of the boards, but that's great to hear that your dh (and you!) are finally getting a break!

Congrats on having a DH around again! Mine won't take step 2 until closer to the holidays, so I still have to grin and bear it for a while yet. And I just had to say...
