So- who has walked the walk?

Who has voted and no matter who you have voted for, take a second and pat yourself on the back.

We did absentee ballots as we were afraid we'd be in Russia or I'd be travelling. They went in two weeks ago!

    Yay! Gold star for me!

Not yet, but I absolutely will! My dh actually said he might not vote and said he didn't care who wins !!! After a little "discussion" I think I've convinced him that yes he does need to vote and I of course let him know why he needs to vote for my candidate.

I will say that I wish I had known that absentee voting was so easy and so common! I will be voting tomorrow, but our new polling place (we've moved since the last election) is deep in the skeevy part of our neighborhood, so I'm not looking forward to it.

Yes, DW and I voted last Wednesday on Campus. I was suprised at how long the lines were for early voting. It took us about an hour to vote.

We did early voting on Friday afternoon. It was so quick and easy! I guess the length of the line depends on where you go....luckily for us there was no line!

Yes, Thursday night, and our kids were with us and very interested in the whole thing, so hopefully that is something they will remember.....

I voted as soon as the polls opened this AM....it feels like such a relief! You could definitely feel the tension in the air at the polling site, though.

Just got back! I went running with my Republican friend this morning and we treaded very lightly over the subject of politics--we've duked it out before but now all we can do is sit back and see how the day plays out.
