It's so great...

to have my mom here. She came for a surprise trip to visit the kids for halloween. She's only been here a few days (and she's leaving tomorrow :disappointed: , but it has been sooooo wonderful.

I've forgotten what it is like to actually have family nearby...I am trying to convince her to move here. 8) I just feel so much happier and less..cranky...with her here to talk to, clean with, and share our kids with. The kids are so thrilled to have her here too....

I don't want her to go home....

Kris, is there any chance she would move to MN? I was able to convince my mom to move here - she will be moving here in 2 years. She's going to be our nanny.

My mom was just here too. She has been such a godsend helping out lately. I am lucky she has been willing to make the trip. Glad you had a good visit!

That would be cool if she would move up there! My parents are set to retire here in 1.5 years, so I'm looking forward to having them nearby (of course they are only 3 hours away now).
