That is really sad. My MIL was just diagnosed a few weeks ago, and unfortunately it has already spread to her lymph nodes. What a reality check.Comment

Perhaps on a personal level the fact that her husband won't have the rigors of serving as Vice President of the U.S. is a blessing for Mrs. Edwards while she goes through this awful trial?
My grandmother died of breast cancer. It is a terrible thing....
