best gift

What's the best Christmas gift you've ever received? What's one thing you've always wanted and never gotten? :santasleigh:

Best gift - the puppy that I received when I was eight. My parents kept a secret from me until Christmas morning. I'll never forget the terrier mix puppy jumping out of a box under the tree!

Gift I haven't received - snow falling and accumulating on Christmas Day. If my memory serves me right, I've gotten close with snowfall on Christmas Eve but I can't remember any snow and accumulation on the day itself.

This sounds sort of lame, but the best gift that I ever got was a baby jogger from DH our first year together. It cost a LOT of money that we didn't have and was a complete extravagence (we couldn't even pay the bills at the time). He waited until I went to sleep and then brought it in from the trunk of his car and put it together to make it look like Santa left it. It was very, very sweet. He was so pleased to give this to me.

Just thinking of this makes me want to give him a sweet talking phone call.

A surprise massage... I went with my boyfriend at the time to the gym and when we got out of the locker room he lead me to the masseuse for an hour in heaven.
