Well, it seems that we are single-handedly growing the economy with consumer debt.

DW just bought a dining room set-Merry Christmas 2005, 2006 & 2007! I guess we needed it, as we have a dining room with only boxes filled with China & crystal in it. At least it wasn't the Henredon set that she was longing for (MSRP for table 4 chairs-$18000!!!! )-did I ever tell anyone that she has largely expensive tastes?

So, now we will be able to have that dinner party for the iMSN Winter Get-Away 2005(with beach excursions, and pina-coladas/margaritas) :gossip: :cook: :~

      Bah humbug!
I have yet to even send a single CARD! My DH, still being a resident and all, thinks that gifts for his family are totally unnecessary! I disagree and since I actually care and his family is generous to me, I will be doing all the shopping for his family.
I wanted to get a tree this year since we are in our first owned home(yeah!) but I am afraid my dog will eat the tree and drag it all over the house! He's a funny dog that way, he likes to drag anything and everything from all over the house into the living room where he demolishes it on the NEW RUG! He can't do it in the kitchen where there is tile or any other room where there are wood floors. No he takes my plants out of the pots, drags them onto the rug and eats them! He even drags the kitchen garbage can into the living room and empties it right onto the rug! Needless to say, you can imagine what might happen to my carefully decorated tree! Any suggestions would be welcome!
Well, I better get to work....I think I will do most of my shopping on the net this year!
