  • Wish us luck....

Leaving in a few hours to drive to Cincinnati (from Lansing).

Tim is interviewing with a hospital there for his "big switch".

The interview is Monday, he is so nervous- it is kind of funny because he wasn't nervous for the match and those interviews and we ended up here. Maybe being nervous is a good sign.

I just hope it all works out for him. I really think this might be the last ditch effort to save his career in medicine.

ER burnout has gotten totally extreme. Now as an acting 3rd year, due to someone leaving suddenly, he is carrying the trauma pager everyday- it is only making matters worse.

Hoping the switch to internal medicine will bring some sanity back into our lives.

We are leaving when he is done with his shift at 9PM. Then I have to drive 5 hours- yeee haawww :auto:

But, we get to celebrate our Christmas since we both were working.

Tell you about it when we get back.

Go Anne, Go Tim!!! Have a great trip! Drive carefully and stop to enjoy things along the way if you can! This is just the beginning of another new chapter!!!

You guys are already on the road, but I wish you good luck and a safe trip!!

I really feel for your husband. At least the year is half over. Easier said than done, but hopefully he can focus on his future to get through the present.
