    VD Plans?

    Any big plans out there for Valentine's day?

        My DH was going to make us a great steak dinner but it's 7:22 and I'm on here instead so you can guess where he is.

          DH had conference last night so I had dinner alone last night. We'll make up for it by going out someplace nice on Wednesday.

            I spent all day at the hospital on base. Colton has a terrible case of pneumonia. We got to see DW for about half an hour, she helped hold Colton still for the chest films. So, the evening was spent doling out medicine and going to bed early- as we are up at all hours because of poop sleep(worse than normal, anyway!).

            Can I start this year over? For my birthday(Jan 4th), we spent the day driving to MS, to the AFB over there to see specialists for Colton- Neurology, Genentics, B&D, PT/OT. Valentine's Day with sick kids- did I mention that Drew was throwing up yesterday morning too?

            I want a "do-over"

              We ordered our usual "Planet Sub" (for the Jayhawks out there, it's the same as Yellow Sub except it's in KC)--we have been doing that on V-Day for years. My dh surprised me by bringing home a bouquet of flowers. I bought him a card but it accidentally got left in the grocery cart at the store.
              Awake is the new sleep!

                Ooh, I miss Yellow sub SO MUCH! I wonder if they'd let me open one here - that would solve my craving and my job crisis. Of course then I'd gain tons of weight!

                  Wow-- how was dinner, Jenn?

                  BF was on call last night. I stopped by the hospital to bring him some cookies and then went to a movie with a girlfriend.

                    We went out on Sunday to see In Good Company.
                    Even better -- it was all free! Free movie tickets from DH's GME department and we did a babysitting swap with the neighbors.
