Oh, Luanne, I'm so sorry that you and poor Winston are going through this right now! I hope you get some answers and that the little guy is doing ok.

Yeah, I guess I should just be happy that our dog seems to obsessed with picking our used tissues out of the trash and chewing on them. My friend's dog has developed a habit of eating its own ... uh ... poop. ::

        Oh, Luanne, your poor pup!

On the topic of gross dog eating habits: I well remember my dog having to be constantly shooed away from the bathroom trash after my sister and I hit puberty. There are some truly nasty things those animals find tasty!

OMG...to you both. Jenn, I hope Petey is feeling better, and Luanne....poor little Winston! Please keep us update on his condition!

I worked one summer as a vet tech. We got a panicked call from an owner whose dog had just eaten....the condom that the couple had just used. The woman was horribly embarassed (as was I ). They had to bring the dog in to induce vomiting because the thing could have blocked up the intestines.

At the time it was the grossest thing I'd ever heard of...but Jenn...I think your story beats it!
