I'm dying to hear where everyone matched!!!! And match stories...yes, share them...and submit them at the front page for publication :> Come to think of it, we need all kinds of med school, match, residency and fellowship stories ahem!

            Duke!

We are headed to NC!!! Definitely the best place for both of us (as long as I can find a job). DH is thrilled and so am I!!! :=

Is anyone else in the area, or headed that way?

              Congratulations!!
I was wondering where and what specialty then I saw your signature line. I love that area and think it would be a fun place to live.

Congratulations! We have a good friend from med school who is doing his IM residency at Duke, he loves it there. We went down to visit them last summer and had a great time, it's a very nice area with low cost of living! Good luck with the move and job-hunting!

                      Miranda -
We will be in the same town!! Congrats on the match!! We'll have to get together when everything gets settled. (We will be moving there in June). Are you going to buy a house there? We just bought one in January and are so excited about it!! I have some contacts if you want to look at houses out there... let me know if you want any info.

We are going to Baltimore! The joke is on me because I "allowed" him to rank Hopkins high not really thinking he would match there . Here I was preparing to live in the west coast and we end up east! DH is extremely happy and I can't really complain because its a great program. Our prelim year will be in Oakland, CA so I have a year to let this all sink in .

Cherry- are you going to be at Highland? DH did 8 months of rotations there and we loved it ( well, not Highland, but Berkeley where we lived). We were SO sad to leave...........

I just wanted to pop in and say we're headed to Iowa for ENT. I think I posted a couple months ago that DH didn't match initially for ENT in the early match, but he scrambled and landed the 7-year spot at that coveted program (there were only two unfilled positions in the country after the match). What a rollar coaster that was for us!!!!! From no match to Iowa. We found out a few weeks ago, so yesterday was sort of anticlimactic for us compared to most of his classmates, but the ceremony was fun nonetheless.

Anyone on here in Iowa City?
