  • If is snows ONE more time...

... I'm driving to Marla's, getting her Christmas tree, putting it up, and celebrating Christmas all over again!!! To me, there are only 2 purposes of snow 1. To make for GREAT skiing days in the mountains and 2. Make Christmas cozy and fun. Other than that, it's just wet, cold, and doubles our time going anywhere when we have to bundle the kids up in 3 layers of clothes.

Okay, when the kids get old enough to actually enjoy playing out in the snow, my outlook might change, but for now, we all just stand at the window, waiting ever-so-impatiently for spring!!

We had another 3-4 inches last night and I am ready to FIRE the weather people around here.

... oh wait, you mean next year I will be in an even COLDER, SNOWIER place??! Man, I must REALLY love my husband!!

and it's a messy slushy gloopy mess. the kind of mess that throws your back out when you shovel it.
But to be fair to the weatherpeople, they called this one yesterday - I've found I get the most accurate info from the "discussion" area on http://www.ctweather.com

Heh - and everybody will laugh at you when you complain and call you a wimpy connecticut yankee.
Anyway, I think this must really be the end of winter - at least I hope so, for my daffodils' sakes.

Jen - how much snow have you guys had total this year? I bet we've had less. Rochester really doesn't get as much as people think. If it weren't for our 20 inches at one time last week we would have ended the season around 24.

Run fast Sally, run fast! :>

We've had record snowfall here (including a little snow / ice combo this AM). I'm hoping KC is a little better in that regard.

Oh, KC is MUCH better - little snow, at least less than Cleveland!
