I gave up trying to play with that template! I found one that was 'close enough' in terms of colors and then transferred over all of the smile graphics and uploaded it. It needed a couple of tweeks so the graphics fit properly, but it is nice to have THAT done......

Now I just have to get the Album and Calendar fixed... ugh!

Do you like that I took the smilies out onto the homepage as well? I just think we all need a 'lift' around here and I love the smiles.

Just delete your temporary internet files in the tools..

Your blog is ready, btw. All you have to do is sign in at the main page http://www.medicalspouse.com

Once you're logged in, you'll notice a little user menu that says 'submit news' You can write your journal, put it in your category and submit it.

I'll get an email that it was submitted and then can officially activate the page.

I liked the smiles, but to honest I really like everyone's Avatar. Strange as this sounds seeing people with an Avatar thingy next to their author name really brightens my day. (Man I have been cooped up in the house way too long.)

Whenever you change the background, it throws me for a loop. Such a creature of habit.

I like the smilies on the forum page. (And I still really like all the emoticons that we have now. All the better to express myself).

Well, the background stays now for a long while...I'm satisfied with it...the colors don't drive me crazy and....I'm sick of playing with it. It has been hard finding themes that fit both the front page and the forums since we had to switch to separate software for each. I didn't like the fact that there was a different appearance for each page and I honestly like the smiley idea....it just makes things cheery without being too much.

Now that I've managed to incorporate the smiles on the frontpage, and get the forums to sort of match the main page software, I'm not going to do anything else for a long time.

Would it help if I said "I really mean it this time" :> You've probably heard that before too. Hey, at least the forums are a neutral blue and not that outrageous "the sun ed in the forums" orange! Remember THAT one. Man....when I was shutting down those old forums the other day I needed sunglasses.
