I can't believe how expensive gas is! It's $2.19/gallon for regular..we paid $2.39/gallon for super yesterday. Man, that VW van wasn't quite the bargain we had hoped...we paid nearly $50 to fill the tank and it uses way too much gas way too fast!

How is the price of gas where you are?

It's about $2.23 in my area. It's amazing that gas prices have literally doubled here in the last 6 months!

I think I paid 2.27 this weekend. There is a little station by my house that was charging 2.41 for regular.

I put midgrade in my VW. Sometimes when I am being cheap I put regular. Do you really think it matters that much or am I being cheap and dumb?

GA has pretty cheap gas. I paid 2.09 the other day.

It says use midgrade or premium to avoid 'pinging' but I have never heard any pinging.

$2.40 for regular gas here in L.A. The whole freeway lifestyle is getting rough on the pockets. I think I've put as many miles on my car here in six month as 2 years in Chicago.

I just filled up today. It was $2.06 for the cheap stuff at a Hess gas station in West Roxbury here in Boston. Of course, my tank holds about 19 gallons and I was really empty so I still had to pay quite a bit.

We're now up to $2.40 in my neighborhood. It shouldn't cost almost 30 dollars to fill a Mini Cooper. It's wrong on too many levels!

You know, this is really, really weird that the price was so low in Boston today. I actually looked at my receipt again to make sure I had the price per gallon correct. Maybe today was my lucky day for filling up??
