I sold some cloth diapers on ebay last week- they were well loved with stains. My title included that they were used. My description was brief, but said that they were used with stains. They went for just about the price to buy them new which I was surprised about. So the buyer just emailed me to say that I was not forthcoming with the description, that they were very stained and she could have bought new ones for what she paid. I have three other lots of diapers in similar shape on ebay now, and I dont want my feeback to be messed up with these either. I am not sure how to respond to her, if I was expecting diapers in great shape I would be upset too but I would not have bid on something that said used with stains without having lower expectations. Any advice?

When selling the additional stuff I would be VERY clear and maybe show one of the stains in the photograph. You do have the opportunity to respond to criticism on ebay, too.
Honestly I'm surprised that anyone would buy used cloth diapers on ebay - they're cheap to begin with! If I had the time / energy I would sell a bunch of my remaining garage sale stuff on ebay.
Good luck!

If she posts a negative response in your feedback make sure you respond to it. If it escalates I would contact the help desk. If you can still get to your listing you should be able to e-mail it to her again and she can see for herself. I've found that people don't read well enough and then they blame someone else because they feel stupid. Good luck!Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
