  • How is your weather?

Ours just bites. :| We had two beautiful days on Monday and Tuesday (following something like 3 weeks of rain) and then the rain started again today and is supposed to stay for the next 3-4 days.

I'm so sick of this WEATHER. I want sunshine people...sunshine!

I felt so good when the weather was nice. DH said I was like a different person. :| I felt so cheerful and I got so much done...today I am back to walking around like a big old black cloud.

The weather has basically stunk since...September. It got cool, the leaves fell from the trees early and has been dark, cold and then...bitter cold....then rainy and gray. It is JUNE...and if we have another Fall like the last one it will mean 3 1/2 nice months for this year.

    grouch, grouch, grouch, grouch, grouch

It's been crazy! We had mid-90s last Thursday and Friday and I was wondering how I would make it through the summer without a/c. Now it has cooled down and was rainy and high 50s today. I think I am adjusting well to this climate; when the sun is out and intense and the temp is high, I am blinking and shading my eyes -- good god, what is that glowing orb in the sky?

After a week away, in South Carolina(and gorgeous weather-low 70's for high and mid 40 to low 50's for lows), we came home to high 80's low 90's and lots of sun....with the occassional thunderstorm for good measure.

Our pool has a cover on it, I opened it up after we got home and the water temp was 94!!

My yard looks like crap though, some green, mostly brown and lots of bare sand.

It's been really pretty here (until today) over the past week. Otherwise, it's been 60s and rainy. (may as well move to the NW!!)

We got back from vacation on Sunday to rain, and that is what it has been ever since-rain, rain, rain. I am really starting to worry about my garden- it was looking awesome but I havent been able to check on it in 2 days. I hope my tomatoes havent drowned.

We were actually pleasantly surprised when we got back from Vegas to find 70-80's degree weather with lots of sun and no rain (knock on wood). I think we are supposed to get some rain this weekend though. It was so miserable before we left all we did in Vegas was complain about the weather from back home, of course we were there with tons of other people from MN and some from Boston so we all complained together.

We've had light showers the last couple of days and are expected to have rain 9 out of the next 10 days. It's in the 60s today, but expected to warm up to the 80s in the next few days....so it'll be feeling pretty tropical here for awhile. I can't really complain because we haven't really had much rain at all this year.

We've had GREAT weather!! Mid 70's and low humidity (I hate the humid weather!) But I could live with this year-round! Going outside is so much more enjoyable.
