  • We have a place to live!

We've been in waiting limbo on University Housing and we just found out we got a tiny 2 bedroom apt starting August 1st.

I was so nervous that we wouldn't get it, and we'd have to find somewhere and it would be a horribel rush.

    WHEW!

now to sell one of the cars, most of our belongings, and sell the house...

Congrats. I, too, have spent much of the past couple months in housing limbo so I know the anxiety you've been dealing with!

Best of luck w/the rest! I hope the housing market where you are is better than in Cleveland!

          We might turn it down.
          Sigh.
We have two cats we've had for a dozen years and no one is able or willing to take them for the 6 months we'll be at EH. So DH is thinking about flying out for a long weekend by himself and looking for apartments that allow pets.
          Back to housing limbo.
          Gah :|

            Oh no! What is EH?
I hope you find a great place soon.

That stinks! It is harder to find a place to live when you have pets! Maybe this place was just not meant to be and you're going to find someplace even better! (I'm trying to be positive!)

We'll all keep our fingers crossed for you!

                  Whew...another stressor gone :@
Have an apt that allows pets, gave us a short term lease, is on the busline, very close to Tim's bus stop, and has a pool that my neice has already laid claim to.

Phew. Good news. I'm glad you have a place to move to -- and a pool will be fun too.
