    I wanted to get him something for FINALLY finishing training, but didn't want the standard pen-type stuff. My dh is a huge baseball fan, so I settled on a briefcase made from baseball glove leather from Rawlings.

    He loves it!

    That sounds like a cool gift!

    In Kansas City, you could probably get some tickets to the Royals(I am sure that people there would just give you tickets, as they suck this year!!!)....the only trouble is, the traffic to get in and out of the stadiums is horrendous- and it is a long way to drive from the west of KC to the east of KC. But it is fun....

        It doesn't look like a baseball glove or anything. Aside from the stitching on the handle, it just looks like a nice briefcase. Here's a link to a picture.

        FYI - I didn't pay that much for it. I got one on ebay for $229!! Another reason to be happy - I got it for about $100 less than retail!
